BeotelNet was one of Serbia’s older Internet and hosting providers, with activity dating back to 26 February 1996. The brand had a strong local legacy because it belonged to the early commercial Internet period in Serbia and was associated with the country’s first international Internet connectivity. Today, beotel.net is no longer active as an independent provider and works mainly as a transition point toward Telekom Srbija / MTS (mts.rs).

From 1 December 2025, BeotelNet became part of Telekom Srbija. From that date, Telekom Srbija took over the telecommunications, hosting and ICT services previously used through BeotelNet. Existing users continued under Telekom Srbija’s conditions, while the old BeotelNet identity stopped functioning as a separate hosting and ISP business.

The company operated legally as BeotelNet-ISP d.o.o. Beograd, headquartered in Belgrade. A clearly documented individual founder is not consistently available, but the company’s foundation date is well established. Its later ownership history is better documented: from July 2013, BeotelNet was owned by the Cyprus-based investment structure Kerseyco Trading LTD, part of TLCP Emerging Europe L.P.

BeotelNet was not just a small hosting provider. Its business covered Internet access, wired and wireless connectivity, ADSL, fixed telephony, VoIP, IPTV, domain registration, web hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, cloud hosting, SSL certificates, email and ICT services. This made the company closer to a local telecom and Internet-services operator than to a simple shared-hosting reseller.

The hosting portfolio included Linux shared hosting, Windows shared hosting, SSD hosting, VPS hosting, dedicated servers, cloud hosting, domain registration, SSL certificates, and business email services. Linux and Windows hosting were suitable for Serbian-market websites, small business projects, email hosting and CMS-based sites. VPS and dedicated server services were aimed at users needing stronger resources, full server control and a more business-oriented hosting environment.

BeotelNet also strengthened its market position by connecting with other Serbian Internet brands and networks, including NSPoint.Net, BISInter.net and Sinfonika. This local consolidation helped the company keep a recognizable position in the Serbian ISP market before the final migration into Telekom Srbija.

💰 Price & Cost

BeotelNet’s old hosting pricing was generally positioned for the Serbian local market. Shared hosting was available in lower-cost packages, while VPS, cloud and dedicated server services were priced higher according to resources and management level. The main billing currency was the Serbian dinar, with prepaid service periods and renewals through the customer portal.

Payment options included local bank/post-office payment methods and online card payment. Online payments supported Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard and Maestro, with card processing through a Serbian banking/payment setup.

Refunds were not based on a simple fixed "money-back guarantee." Older service terms treated refunds according to unused service value and costs already incurred. After the migration, pricing, billing and service rules belong to Telekom Srbija rather than to BeotelNet as a separate provider.

🏢 Data Center

BeotelNet’s infrastructure was centered in Serbia, mainly around Belgrade. The company operated under AS6700 / BEOTEL-AS, with Serbian IP resources and network presence. Older hosting services were tied to Belgrade-based infrastructure and Serbian data-center capacity.

The hosting environment included DDoS protection, firewall systems, monitoring and security filtering. VPS services used VMware-style virtualization and supported multiple Linux distributions, while dedicated and cloud services were aimed at more resource-intensive websites and business workloads.

A 99.9% uptime guarantee was historically connected with BeotelNet hosting services. For current use, however, service continuity and infrastructure responsibility now belong to Telekom Srbija / MTS.

✍️ Customer Support

BeotelNet support was available through phone, email, helpdesk/customer portal channels and local service contact points. Business users had stronger support availability, and the old My Beotel portal was used for service renewal, customer management and online payment.

After the migration, users moved into Telekom Srbija’s support structure. General customer contact is now handled through Telekom Srbija / MTS, with 24/7 phone support for private and business users. Hosting support is handled through Telekom Srbija business support, with ict.helpdesk@telekom listed for hosting assistance and info@telekom for general contact.

🔨 Control Panel

BeotelNet hosting used standard hosting control panels. Linux hosting was associated with cPanel, while Windows hosting used Plesk. The hosting environment also included FTP access, SSL, backups, website statistics, one-click installers and website-building functionality.

Email services used webmail access, and BeotelNet webmail was connected with Axigen, which provided webmail, calendar and collaboration features. Account and payment management were handled through the My Beotel customer portal.

🎯 Conclusion

BeotelNet should now be treated as a closed/inactive independent hosting and ISP brand. It had an important Serbian Internet history, starting in 1996 and later operating as a broader telecom, hosting and ICT provider. Its old portfolio was strong enough for local users who needed Internet access, domains, shared hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, cloud services, SSL and business email from a Serbian provider.

The realistic conclusion is that BeotelNet is no longer a provider to choose independently. From 1 December 2025, its users and services moved under Telekom Srbija / MTS (mts.rs). For historical review purposes, BeotelNet remains an important Serbian ISP and hosting name; for new purchases, customers should evaluate the current MTS / Telekom Srbija offer instead.
