2MHost is an independent web hosting provider operating since 2001, giving the company around 25 years of experience in the hosting market. The business operates legally as TWO M HOST FZE and serves more than 20,000 customers across six continents. Its services are primarily aimed at individuals, developers, small businesses, blogs, portfolios, online shops and conventional business websites.

The company began with a focus on affordable hosting backed by direct technical support and has remained concentrated on practical web hosting rather than expanding into a large cloud-computing portfolio. Its main services include Shared Hosting, Performance Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Domain Registration, Email Hosting, SSL Certificates, Website Builder, backups and website security. VPS references remain in some older legal provisions, but VPS and dedicated servers are not part of the main hosting lineup.

Standard Web Hosting is available through Starter, Ready, Business and Growth plans. Starter includes 10 GB SSD storage, 1 GB RAM, 1 vCPU, unlimited monthly bandwidth, one website and unlimited email accounts. Ready increases the allocation to 25 GB SSD and 2 GB RAM while allowing three websites. Business provides 50 GB SSD, 3 GB RAM and 2 vCPU for up to five websites, while Growth includes 100 GB SSD, 4 GB RAM and 2 vCPU for as many as ten websites.

The clear CPU and memory allocations are useful because customers can see the practical limits of each shared-hosting package instead of relying only on generic unlimited-resource claims. File counts are not assigned a separate restrictive quota and remain subject mainly to the available storage capacity. Monthly bandwidth is also unlimited under normal website usage.

Ready, Business and Growth include registration of an eligible primary domain, while Starter customers can add the primary domain separately. WHOIS privacy is available without charge where the registry permits privacy protection. Eligible .COM, .NET and .ORG domains can also be transferred while retaining the usual additional registration year.

The more powerful Performance Hosting range is better suited to WordPress, WooCommerce, Magento and applications that need additional processing power. These plans combine LiteSpeed Enterprise, LSCache, Redis object caching and CloudLinux resource isolation with higher dedicated resource limits.

Performance Ready includes 50 GB SSD storage, 2 vCPU and 4 GB RAM for two websites. Performance Business provides 100 GB SSD, 3 vCPU and 6 GB RAM for four websites, while Performance Growth increases resources to 150 GB SSD, 4 vCPU and 8 GB RAM for six websites. All three include an eligible primary-domain registration and advanced spam filtering.

The LiteSpeed environment is especially useful for WordPress because LSCache operates directly with the web server, while Redis can reduce repeated database requests through object and session caching. LiteSpeed integrations are also available for applications such as Joomla, Drupal, PrestaShop and Laravel, while Magento can benefit from LiteMage.

Developer-oriented functionality includes multiple PHP versions, PHP Composer, MySQL 8, phpMyAdmin, HTTP/2, Git, PHP X-Ray and WordPress staging. Softaculous is integrated for rapid deployment of WordPress, Joomla, Magento, PrestaShop and many other applications.

SSH requires some attention because the hosting specifications include FTP, SSH & Git, while the Terms of Service still contain a provision stating that shell access is not offered. Customers who specifically require interactive SSH should confirm the available access level before purchasing a plan.

Security is handled with Imunify360, combining malware detection, Web Application Firewall protection, brute-force blocking and proactive protection against newly discovered attacks. Malware can be detected and cleaned automatically, while two-factor authentication adds another layer of account security.

SSL protection is included without an additional certificate charge. cPanel AutoSSL handles certificate issuance, installation and renewal, including wildcard coverage where supported. HTTPS redirection can be activated automatically, while encrypted POP3, IMAP, SMTP and webmail connections protect email traffic.

Email hosting is included with the web-hosting packages, and customers can create mailboxes within their available storage allocation. Secure POP3, SMTP, IMAP and webmail are available together with forwarders and auto-responders. Starter and Ready allow up to 150 outgoing messages per hour, while Business, Growth and Performance plans increase the allowance to 300 messages per hour.

Inbound spam protection works together with the JetEmail outbound network. Ready and higher plans include the advanced inbound filtering service, while Starter customers can add it separately. Quarantine management and daily reports make it possible to recover legitimate messages caught by spam filtering, and outbound scanning helps protect mail reputation if an account becomes compromised.

The siteSPARK Website Builder is included with hosting. It uses a browser-based drag-and-drop editor with responsive layouts, templates, galleries, forms, maps, videos, accordions and other visual components. Websites can be previewed for desktop, tablet and mobile displays before publication.

siteSPARK became the principal website-building option after the previous premium Site.pro integration was discontinued in December 2025. Site.pro remains available only through its more limited free tier, while siteSPARK is the better integrated option for new hosting customers.

Reseller Hosting is available with cPanel and WHM. Starter Reseller provides 10 individual cPanel accounts and 25 GB SSD storage, Agency increases capacity to 25 accounts and 60 GB, while Web Host provides 50 accounts and 125 GB. The packages include unlimited monthly bandwidth, private nameservers, white-label server naming, WHM administration and off-site backups.

Each reseller-created account can use up to 1 vCPU and 1 GB RAM. This is suitable for ordinary company websites, personal websites and smaller WordPress installations rather than resource-intensive applications. Existing cPanel reseller accounts can also be migrated without an additional transfer charge.

A separate loyalty program can be more flexible for developers who prefer keeping customer websites in independent hosting accounts instead of using WHM. The program begins from the second active account with a 5% discount and progresses through 10%, 15% and 20% levels to a maximum 25% discount. Standard and Performance accounts can be combined and may reside on different servers while still contributing toward the same loyalty tier.

Backup frequency deserves clarification for customers choosing lower-cost shared plans. The hosting comparison currently assigns two backups per week to Starter and Ready and daily backups to Business and Growth, while a March 2025 infrastructure update introduced daily remote backups for hosting accounts. Performance and reseller plans use daily JetBackup snapshots. Customers for whom recovery-point frequency is critical should confirm the exact schedule attached to the selected shared plan.

The acceptable-use rules are stricter than those of unrestricted VPS platforms. Mass-mailing systems, adult content, dating websites, gambling services, gaming services, proxies, BitTorrent applications, IRC bots and several other resource-intensive or abuse-prone activities are prohibited. Accounts causing prolonged excessive server consumption can also be restricted or suspended.

The customer interface is available in English, while hosting prices are primarily shown in USD. The website uses a modern responsive layout suitable for desktop and mobile devices.
