Dec, 2003 : Soholaunch Releases Free Web Site Builder

📅 December 2, 2003 - Soholaunch.com, Inc. (soholaunch.com), an Atlanta-based provider of Web site creation and content management software, announced today that it had released Soholaunch Web Studio, a free Web site building tool.

According to the company, Soholaunch Web Studio is a server-based software that allows Internet service providers, Web hosting companies and domain registrars to upsell hosting packages, increasing customer conversion rates and retention.
"Soholaunch Web Studio signals a significant change in how a hosting company gains new customers, what level of tools and services they deliver and how they provide their customers a sensible and affordable upgrade path," said Jim Buckler, CEO of Soholaunch.com, Inc. "Web Studio offers a unique capability to attract and retain new customers and easily accelerate hosting upgrades."
Web Studio allows hosting of up to 100 Web sites on a single IP installation for free. The company said licenses are available for allotments of up to 20,00 domains.
"The Web Studio product line is the first step in becoming the industry standard for Web site building and content management tools," said Mike Johnston, CTO and chief software architect. "It is the quintessential entry point for companies selling hosting services with a seamless upgrade path into our Pro product line."
According to Soholaunch, Web Studio is available free for download and includes a simple interface, an HTML editor, photo album, over 100 pre-built graphical templates, and a file manger.
