📅 - Via Net.Works USA (vianetworks.net), the subsidiary of European Web hosting provider Via Net.Works (vianetworks.com), announced on Thursday that it is offering low-cost, self-managed dedicated server hosting featuring .NET capabilities.
Via Net.Works said it will be offering three dedicated server plans starting at a cost of $129.95 per month. Each of the plans come with hardware maintenance, 24-hour technical support and initial installation and configuration. The self-managed offering, Via Net.Works said, gives customers full root access for server management and the ability to install custom third party applications. Other options include RAM upgrades, additional IDE HD, SCSI HD and higher levels of system administration service. Software upgrades include ColdFusion MX, .NET Framework, standard and/or enterprise SQL 2000, expanded iMail accounts, Urchin 5.0, Windows Advanced Server and Authenticated Windows. Earlier this year, Via Net.Works acquired France based Web host Amen.
