📅 June 25, 2002 - Managed Web hosting company VIA NET.WORKS USA (VIANETWORKS.net) announced on Tuesday that it has entered an agreement with e-commerce software developer LaGarde Inc. (lagarde.com) to provide small businesses with LaGarde's StoreFront Now hosted e-business software.

Through the agreement, VIA USA's customers will have access to a scalable e-business solution capable of growing along with their online merchant and e-commerce business needs.
The Kansas-based LaGarde, says VIA USA, provides e-commerce software for small and medium-sized businesses. The company's StoreFront Now is a Web-based application that enables SMEs to build and manage online storefronts with simple point-and-click wizard-driven development tools.
The StoreFront Now product, says VIA USA, is designed with every e-business customer in mind, including retailers, wholesalers, manufacturers, professional associations, government institutions and not-for-profit organizations.
"LaGarde's StoreFront Now provides growing e-businesses with all the tools and functionality they need to create a professional e-commerce presence," says Rich Grady, managing director for VIA NET.WORKS USA.
