Feb 27, 2008 : VIA Networks Opens Las Vegas Office

📅 February 27, 2008 - Managed hosting provider VIA Networks (vianetworks.net), a subsidiary of the Claranet Group (uk.clara.net), announced on Tuesday it has opened its new office in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is the latest move in VIA Networks and the Claranet Group's continuing expansion across North America.

Claranet Group recently opened a new POP in New York City's metro area giving European and US customers a high-performance, secure and reliable trans-Atlantic link for their business critical applications, says the company.

With the opening of the Las Vegas office, the company says it is showing its commitment to expanding the network footprint to the West Coast of the United States.

"As a growing Managed Services provider, VIA Networks is committed to providing our clients with increasing services, capabilities and locations," says Darin Elkins, managing director and president of VIA Networks. "The Las Vegas office is a strategic move towards expanding our global footprint and strengthening the Groups presence in North America. This new office will serve as the hub for our western presence."
