📅 March 22, 2004 - Kelly Britt, president of Web hosting provider Need a Dot Com (needa.com), announced last week that he has launched the Kellybritt.com (kellybritt.com) Web site in an effort to promote himself as the next candidate for Donald Trump's reality TV show "The Apprentice."

Britt said in a release that he has "the energy, enthusiasm and character that Trump is looking for in the next Apprentice... this site gets beyond the hype surrounding the show and exposes me as a real and viable candidate."
NBC holds the broadcast rights to The Apprentice.
Britt's Need a Dot Com, in business since 1996, is a provider of domain registration and Web hosting services based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Broadwing's disaster recovery tool, MultiConnect ReDirect, allows Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans to add a secondary, back-up host location to a Plan's hub-and-spoke MultiConnect network. According to the report, the Geronimo application server is about to go into J2EE testing certification and has an unofficial release date of August 6, 2004. Ensim Power Tools are an add-on product to the Linux-based versions of the Ensim Pro and Ensim Basic control panels that allows hosting service providers to deploy interactive Web applications.
