Apr 8, 2004 : Automotive Group to Host with AT&T

📅 - AT&T (att.com) has been selected to provide a managed hosting solution for the California State Automobile Association (CSAA), the company announced on Wednesday. Under the terms of a multi-year agreement, AT&T will host the CSAA's Web site and provide monitoring of its critical business applications.

CSAA said AT&T's managed hosting, enterprise networking and application management capabilities provided the best environment to support its large number of Web-based applications. The site is being hosted out of AT&T's data center in San Francisco, one of its 21 facilities around the world.
"AT&T is a very good fit with CSAA," says Andrew Goldsmith, vice president of IT business development. "AT&T's technology and management capabilities, as well as our existing successful partnership, made this an excellent choice for our managed services solution as we continue to grow and expand."
Goldsmith added that AT&T's ability to scale its infrastructure to support future applications was extremely important.
"We needed an infrastructure that not only would support our current needs, but also have the ability to grow as our e-business portfolio expands. AT&T was able to provide us with that," said Sally Grant, vice president, CSAA IT Operations.
AT&T provides customers with the ability to monitor the performance of their network and applications through its managed services portal, part of AT&T BusinessDirect.
