📅 May 14, 2004 - Radware (radware.com), a provider of application switching solutions, announced earlier this week that it has appointed David Hubbard as the company's president of operations for the Americas.

"David joins us with a wealth of experience in managing and growing leading technology companies," says Roy Zisapel, president and CEO of Radware. "I am pleased that he is joining us and am confident that he will continue to drive momentum in the Americas, increasing both revenue and market share."
Prior to joining Radware, Hubbard has held a number of executive positions at Qlogic Corporation, Inrange Technologies, Computerm Corporation, Computer Network Technology and Digital Equipment Corporation.

📅 May 13, 2004 - Beheading Video Web Site Shut Down - A Web site that posted a video showing the beheading of American citizen Nicholas Berg was shut down by its hosting provider Acme Commerce Sdn Bhd (webserver.com.my ), according to a report by the Associated Press. Alfred Lim, business manager for the Malaysian-based company, told the Associated Press that his company was not aware whether the site, www.al-ansar.biz, may have had links to the terrorist organization al-Qaeda, reportedly responsible for the video, or that offensive material had been published on the site.
