📅 - Advertisement management company Toumanov Media (toumanov.com) announced on Monday that it has acquired Hostingdiscussion.com (hostingdiscussion.com), what it calls the third-largest hosting discussion forum on the Internet. The company says the acquisition "opens a better entrance to serve the Web hosting industry from a marketing standpoint."
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Artashes Toumanov, owner of Toumanov Media, has been in charge of the community development and operations of HostingDiscussion.com since he joined the board over a year ago. Toumanov media also owns Web hosting provider Noble Hosts (noblehosts.com).

📅 - IC&S Colocates with TeleCity - European Web hosting and colocation service provider TeleCity (telecity.com) announced last week that it has entered into an agreement to provide infrastructure and hosting platforms for the customers of Dutch Web host IC&S (ic-s.nl). Under the deal, IC&S has built a new infrastructure platform based at TeleCity's Amsterdam southeast data center facility. 📅 - Cogent Files for Public Stock Offering - Cogent Communications (cogentco.com.) announced on Tuesday that it has filed a registration statement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission for the proposed public offering of $75 million of its common stock. In conjunction with the offering, Cogent's outstanding preferred stock will be converted into 500.2 million shares of common stock and Cogent will affect a 1-for-20 reverse stock split of its 514.3 million shares of outstanding common stock (which includes the common stock issued upon conversion of the preferred stock).
