📅 July 9, 2004 - Content management provider GlobalScape (globalscape.com) announced this week that it had introduced of SnapEdit and PureCMS 3.0. SnapEdit is an entry-level content management tool and PureCMS 3.0 is a mid-market content management system.

SnapEdit allows Web site administrators and users with non-technical backgrounds to update Web site content in real time. The solution is compatible in any shared or dedicated Web hosting environment.
"Our goal is to meet customer needs across a broad range, offering choice based on both product capabilities and cost," says Randy Poole, president and chief operating officer of GlobalScape. "SnapEdit meets the needs of organizations to share responsibility for updating Web sites with non-technical personnel, in a simple, safe and cost-effective way.?
PureCMS 3.0 is a Web content management system that allows non-technical users to create, edit and manage Web site content without the use of HTML. PureCMS 3.0 automates the management of a site's navigation, provides granular administrative control, expands the use of templates and allows multi-server publishing.
"Our experience meeting the content management needs of mid-size organizations resulted in interaction with customers that required more sophisticated capabilities," says Poole.
