📅 July 14, 2004 - Webmetrics (webmetrics.com), a provider of Web site testing, monitoring and measurement services, announced the introduction of HitAnalayzer on Tuesday. HitAnalyzer is a hosted Web site performance and analytics reporting services.

The subscription-based service captures, tracks and logs unique visitor IDs, behavior and referring page activity and provides graphical representations of Web site analytics data. HitAnalyzer, the company said, was designed to correlate analytics and Web site, transaction and server monitoring data to identify how traffic affects site performance and vice versa.
HitAnalyzer integrates with Webmetrics' other monitoring services, including SiteMonitor, AppMonitor or VitalStats.
"The enterprise user base for our Web site and transaction monitoring services has become very diversified - expanding from IT departments and NOCs to marketing departments and partners that want to compare site performance data with that of web analytics," says Tim Drees, CEO of Webmetrics.
