📅 - Managed hosting provider VIA Networks (vianetworks.net) announced on Monday it has named Stewart C. Culbreth the new director of information systems. Culbreth joins VIA Networks from Management Resource Group, where he served as VP of information systems responsible for technical support, systems and software implementation and custom application development.
Culbreth has also served as assistant VP for Amsouth Bank where he was involved in various strategic technology initiatives for the enterprise, including the orchestration and successful implementation of the business continuity plan for the 2005 Hurricane Katrina disaster.
He has more than 12 years of strategic leadership and management success, making him a valuable asset to VIA Networks and the Claranet organization. Culbreth will be responsible for overseeing the company's system administration group, product implementation and tier 3 customer support.
"His proven expertise in the areas of hosted applications, product development, product implementation, and disaster recovery will be an excellent compliment to the team as VIA continues its market expansion and creation of new strategic offerings critical to helping our customers meet their business goals," says Darin Elkins, managing director of VIA Networks.
