Global Knowledge Employs Ebone Network for European Internet Training Service
📅 - Ebone (ebone.com), a European broadband IP and optical networking company, and a division of Global TeleSystems Inc., announced on Thursday that it has put into operation an IP and hosting service for Global Knowledge, an independent IT training company, designed to help improve the delivery of the company's Web-based training.
Ebone's tailored solution allows Global Knowledge to provide its European customers with one of the fastest e-learning services available in Europe. The set-up is designed to cut on-line access delays and deliver maximum service availability.
Global Knowledge is also using the Ebone service to construct an internal IP based corporate network, designed to provide a more efficient and advanced solution for corporate data networking.
According to Global Knowledge, Ebone's solution will help to facilitate the delivery of the training company's e-learning services. Global Knowledge also says that Ebone's understanding of the process means it will be able to continue to address the changing needs of Global Knowledge users.
