📅 - Hostcentric Inc. (hostcentric.com👉 Total Reviews: 3 🙌 Average Rating: 1 / 10 👍 Good Reviews: 0 👎 Bad Reviews: 3 👈 Official Responses: 0 -> web.com), one of the US's leading managed service providers, announced on Thursday that CEO Fred Pounds was named Chairman of the Board this week at a meeting of the company's board of Directors. The company's former Chairman Steve Harter will assume the role of Vice Chairman. After more than 30 years of experience with both publicly and privately held companies, Pounds has been with Hostcentric since the inception of the company in May 2000. Pounds has been involved in the successful startups of three companies over the course of his career. He has held executive positions with Price Waterhouse, Avanti Health Systems and, most recently, with the publicly traded healthcare services company US Oncology Inc. Pounds says the results achieved by the company thus far are gratifying. He says he considers it a privilege to have been recognized for helping to lead the company through the recent challenging times, and he looks forward to 2001, during which the company plans to further its leadership role in the managed services industry. Steve Harter, who served as Chairman of Hostcentric from May 2000 until the unanimous board vote this week that named Pounds Chairman and Harter Vice Chairman, says the board's decision to elevate Pounds to Chairman is a reflection of the progress the company has made toward achieving its business plan in a demanding marketplace. According to Harter, the board is confident that Pounds will have continued success in leading Hostcentric to achieve its goals.
