📅 - Web hosting provider and data center operator Q9 Networks (q9.com -> equinix.com) announced on Thursday that it plans to acquire up to 5 percent of its currently outstanding shares.
The company says the Toronto Stock Exchange has accepted the company's notice of its intention to buy up to 1,015,000 of its common shares, about 5 percent of the approximately 20.3 million common shares outstanding as of September 20.
Purchases under the bid will commence on October 4, 2005 and will conclude on October 3, 2006, or whenever the company completes the purchases as outlined in the noticed.
The purchases may be made on the open market by Q9 through the facilities of the Toronto Stock Exchange.
