📅 February 12, 2009 - Canadian web hosting and data center provider Q9 Networks (q9.com -> equinix.com) announced on Thursday it is providing managed hosting services for Labatt Breweries of Canada's web properties including labatt.com, labattblue.ca, budweiser.ca, budlight.ca, keiths.ca and kokaneebeer.ca.

Under the terms of the agreement, Q9 will host production, staging and disaster recovery infrastructure for the Labatt sites out of its multiple data centers.

The company will provide the websites with a complete suite of managed services, including servers, switches, data backup and restore, Internet bandwidth and 24-hour support.

By using Q9-supported VMware to host the websites, Labatt's advertising agencies will be able to separately administer the web properties in multiple virtual environments.

Q9 designs, builds and operates its data centers to meet the most demanding IT infrastructure requirements, including the increased power and cooling demands of today's high density computing devices.
