📅 November 2, 2005 - Web hosting and Internet solutions provider Webhosting.net (webhosting.net ), said on Wednesday it has acquired shared Web hosting provider Hostunite.com (hostunite.com).

The move signals a change in the company's relatively conservative expansion policy by including growth through acquisition.

"Hostunite, having a large small and enterprise business base of shared-server hosting clients was a perfect target for acquisition," says Anton Resnick, chief operating officer of Webhosting.net. "As we continue to expand, new and existing customer responses have been positive and motivating.
