Webhosting.net will relocate its Internet operations to LayerOne's MiamiNAP, where it will have access to a large number of IP providers and potential customers, both international and domestic. LayerOne says Webhosting.net will use the peering and collocation support provided by LayerOne's carrier-neutral facility to provide reliable service with minimal capital outlay. The agreement also allows LayerOne to offer customers located in the MiamiNAP access to Webhosting.net's services, including hosting, application programming and engineering services. ?LayerOne's MiamiNAP was the obvious choice for us because of the large number of providers and potential customers located within the facility,? says Allen Jaffe, CEO of Webhosting.net. ?The sustainability of both the MiamiNAP and LayerOne were very important factors in our decision to relocate our business.? According to LayerOne turns up service quickly through a practical solution for network interconnection and colocation. The company says it allows end customers to connect with bandwidth providers and make customer-to-customer connections with other companies connected to the exchange.
