📅 - Managed DNS services provider UltraDNS Corporation (ultradns.com) announced on Monday it has appointed Amir Shahmiri to executive vice president of operations and service delivery. Shahmiri will lead the UltraDNS global network, focusing mainly on upholding security measures to enhance operations and customer service.
UltraDNS recently launched the DNS Shield in partnership with major ISPs including AOL and Earthlink. Shahmiri will work with the executive team to maintain UltraDNS' competitive position, managing and protecting some of the largest and most frequently visited directories on the Internet.
"UltraDNS has established its infrastructure solutions as core network services, critical to the successful operation of the largest Top Level Domains and enterprise customers in the world," says Shahmiri. Shahmiri brings to UltraDNS over 18 years of experience in managing IT organizations. Most recently, he was managing director at Network Solutions, where he oversaw business operations of a subsidiary, including managing separation negotiations with VeriSign.
