Jan 26, 2006 : Web Host Net 4 Gets ISO Certification
📅 - Internet service and Web hosting provider Net 4 (net4.in) announced recently that eight of its locations had been certified with ISO 27001, a new standard for data center security awarded by the British Standards Institution.
Jasjit Sawhney, CEO of Net4, says the ISO 27001 certification is an indicator of the quality of the company's information management systems. He says the company plans to use the certification to attract business from sectors that are information-sensitive, such as financial services and insurance.
"This is a significant achievement for Net 4. We are proud to be the first Internet services company in the world to receive this certification," says Sawhney. "ISO 27001 highlights our stringent security measures we have undertaken to secure the data of our customers. Our focus on information security through use of consistent process methodologies enables us to provide a secure environment for delivering high quality services to our customers."
Net 4 is based in India.
