Jan 27, 2006 : Zeus Partners with jetNEXUS

📅 January 27, 2006 - Application traffic management software vendor Zeus Technology (zeus.com) said on Thursday that it had entered into a partnership with jetNEXUS (jetnexus.com), a provider of network infrastructure appliances.

According to the agreement, jetNEXUS will sell the Zeus Extensible Traffic Manager Load Balancer on its platform.

"Working with Zeus allows us to extend our product offering to incorporate one of the leading traffic management solutions on the market today," says Greg Howett, director at jetNEXUS. "As an emerging player in the market, we look forward to capitalizing on Zeus's ten years experience and expertise in the sector."

Zeus also announced one of jetNEXUS's first customers, Internet service and Web hosting provider Griffin Internet (griffin.co.uk), which will use the technology for the launch of its dedicated server and SAN hosting service.

"Our new IP SAN-based dedicated server solution is all about providing reliability, performance, scalability and excellent value for money," says Adrian Sunderland, technical director at Griffin Internet. "When we were choosing a load balancing platform we needed something that would meet all these requirements. I am delighted that with the combination of Zeus ZXTM software and jetNEXUS appliance we have found a solution that succeeded on all counts."
