Founded in 2010 by Bhavin Turakhia, BigRock brings domain registration and a broad hosting portfolio to the Indian small-business market. The English-language India storefront uses rupee billing and caters to individuals, professionals and agencies as well as businesses. Headquarters are in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Its scale of more than six million domains concerns the domain platform, not six million India-hosting customers.

For Indian customers, the contract is with Endurance International Group (India) Private Limited, CIN U72300MH2012PTC226415, incorporated on January 25, 2012. Its previous name was Directi Web Technology Private Limited; the name changed on June 25, 2019. The February 2026 corporate record names Jeffrey Scott Neace, Christina Clohecy, Raviraj Ramesh Parab and Deepak Dileep Dalwani as directors. The headquarters and legal offices share NESCO IT Building 3: Unit 401 on the fourth floor serves as headquarters, and Unit 501 on the fifth floor is the legal and grievance address. Non-Indian customers contract with P.D.R Solutions (U.S.) LLC, with communications addressed to Jacksonville, Florida, United States.

The brand began within Directi (directi.com). Endurance acquired Directi's web-presence businesses in January 2014, including BigRock, ResellerClub and LogicBoxes. Today the parent is Newfold Digital (newfold.com), created in 2021 by bringing Endurance's web-presence business together with Web.com (web.com) following Clearlake's approximately $3 billion Endurance acquisition. Newfold serves more than six million customers in over 200 countries, a group-wide customer count distinct from BigRock's domain total. A September 24, 2026 leadership announcement appoints Sachin Puri chief executive effective October 1, with Sharon Rowlands moving to executive chair; she remains chief executive until that transition.

Domain registration covers hundreds of extensions and includes DNS management, forwarding, masking and domain locking. The ICANN-accredited registrar is BigRock Solutions Ltd, IANA ID 1495, associated with the international BigRock brand. The two Titan (titan.email) mailboxes available with registration are a 30-day trial, not permanently free business email. Domain Protect+ privacy is a separate purchase. Common choices include .com, .in, .net and .org; some extensions impose different registration terms.

The four Linux shared hosting tiers—Standard, Business, Pro and Ultimate—combine NVMe storage with allowances for one to 20 websites and ten to 100 mail accounts. A general 75-website benefit conflicts with the largest current plan's 25-site limit; the selected tier's entitlement is the useful purchasing figure. Windows shared hosting instead serves ASP/ASP.NET and PHP workloads through Windows Server 2022 Standard, MSSQL/MySQL and Plesk.

Agencies can choose Linux reseller hosting with 25–60 cPanel accounts, WHM and 50–200GB NVMe storage. Beyond the priced hosting tiers, the service menu includes Google Workspace, quote-based website design, SEO assistance, cWatch website security and Xcitium (xcitium.com) backup services. These services have their own purchasing paths rather than interchangeable hosting entitlements. The legacy cloud-hosting address now leads to ordinary web hosting rather than a separate current cloud-server catalog.

BigRock quotes India-storefront prices in INR before applicable GST. Most low monthly figures are equivalents of prepaid annual or multiyear terms, not month-to-month prices. Introductory coupons apply only to the first term; renewals can be substantially higher and can differ between India and USA server locations. Supply an Indian GST number before invoicing when applicable. Price changes require at least 30 days' notice.

The entry Linux shared Standard plan is ₹69 per month equivalent on a 60-month purchase, versus ₹199 month to month; it includes one website and 20GB NVMe storage. Its listed renewal is ₹409 in India but ₹239 in the USA. Business Hosting Starter begins at ₹629 per month on a 12-month term and renews at ₹1,249; unusually, its 24- and 36-month introductory rates are slightly higher. WordPress Starter starts at ₹199 per month on a 36-month purchase and renews at ₹349, but WordPress is excluded from the refund policy. Windows shared Essential starts at ₹109 in the USA or ₹149 in India on a 36-month term. For agencies, Linux reseller Essential is ₹1,759 in the USA or ₹2,079 in India on three-year billing; Windows reseller entry pricing is ₹1,299 in the USA or ₹2,099 in India. These examples show why the selected location, term and renewal figure matter more than a single starting price.

Self-managed NVMe 2 VPS starts at ₹289 per month in India or ₹329 in the USA on annual billing, with one core, 2GB RAM, 50GB storage and 1TB transfer. Fully managed ordering adds ₹5,999 monthly for administration and at least ₹999 for a mandatory cPanel license. Including those charges, managed NVMe 4 starts at ₹7,347 in India or ₹7,647 in the USA before optional backup. Linux dedicated MACH-1 starts at ₹6,299 in India or ₹5,199 in the USA on annual billing; minimum managed totals rise to ₹13,297 or ₹12,197. Windows dedicated MACH-1 starts at ₹9,399 annually billed. Optional cloud backup is ₹15 per GB monthly, and WHMCS is ₹479 monthly. The panel, management, backup and billing-software choices can therefore change the real server cost considerably.

The builder's card-free 30-day trial is not permanent free hosting.

Indian payment options include credit cards, debit cards, netbanking, wallets, UPI and NEFT, RTGS or IMPS bank transfers. The US service hostname bh-1.webhostbox.net resolves to 208.91.198.96, within 208.91.198.0/23 assigned to PDR and routed by AS46606, Unified Layer (endurance.com). Operational records connect US shared hosting and email systems to Provo, Utah. A July 2025 US network-maintenance window lasted 120 minutes, with brief connectivity interruptions expected; a separate Provo shared-hosting/email incident in August lasted 96 minutes before resolution. Server administration on fully managed purchases includes more than 30 administration tasks covering setup, hardening, Apache/MySQL/PHP maintenance, firewall configuration, IP delisting, monitoring and local-backup configuration. Self-managed support is limited to hardware, networking, deployment, supported operating-system assistance and reverse DNS; application administration, patching and IP reputation remain the customer's responsibility. Root access leaves those operational responsibilities with the self-managed customer.

First-time VPS customers qualify for migration assistance on purchases of at least six months. Linux dedicated hosting also includes website migration assistance. Arrange migration with support before changing DNS, agreeing source-panel compatibility, data scope and timing. The company blog remains active, with a September 11, 2026 entry; the service-status forum supplies product-specific maintenance and incident notices.

🔨 Control Panel

For Linux shared hosting, cPanel handles websites, email, databases and application installation. Linux reseller accounts add WHM for creating and administering customer accounts. Reseller account counts remain tier-specific; WHMCS integration adds billing and workflow functions rather than increasing those limits. Plesk handles Windows shared and reseller hosting, with MailEnable for reseller email.

WordPress management runs through the WordPress dashboard and the BigRock WordPress plugin. The website builder uses a visual editing interface rather than requiring a separate server panel, and Titan email provides webmail plus mobile access, calendar, contacts, spam/virus filtering, two-factor authentication and IMAP/POP3 over SSL. Business has three external forwarders, ten aliases, ten read receipts, one template and one contact group; Enterprise removes the latter usage limits and increases storage to 50GB.

Server-panel licensing follows a different model. Self-managed VPS at 2GB has no cPanel selection; larger VPS and Linux dedicated orders can omit a paid panel. Fully managed Linux orders require cPanel, with Admin Cloud as the minimum five-account license even when a more expensive tier is preselected. The server addendum's older free 100-account cPanel statement conflicts with the current separately priced license selector. Use the selected order total for budgeting and confirm any claim of a complimentary license before purchasing.

Windows dedicated administration includes RDP. Although general guidance mentions Plesk, the actual order has no selectable included panel license. RDP access should not be confused with a paid Plesk entitlement. Domain registrations use the customer account to manage DNS, forwarding, locking and renewals; auto-renewal settings and first-term expiry are important controls across the product range.

For India-based customers, BigRock is a practical fit when the priorities are domains, familiar payment channels and a broad choice of website, reseller, email and server services through one account. The modern Linux ranges provide concrete NVMe resource allowances, while India/USA selection gives a useful deployment choice. Its managed server products also offer a clearly defined administration layer for businesses unwilling to maintain the system themselves.

The central purchasing issue is the gap between the headline monthly rate and the complete contract cost. First-term discounts, country-dependent renewals, mandatory managed-server licenses and backup charges can substantially change the bill. Refund eligibility is product-specific, and WordPress or managed servers should not be purchased on the assumption that a generic 30-day badge applies. Windows software versions, backup contradictions, transfer quotas and support hours also deserve written confirmation. The most useful comparison is the complete configuration and its renewal cost, not the introductory figure alone.
