Shanghai has been selected at the site for the October 2002 meeting of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, 22 October through Saturday, 26 October, with an ICANN Public Forum to be held on Friday, 25 October and the ICANN Board to meet on Saturday, 26 October. Further details of the meeting will be announced as arrangements are finalized.
