📅 March 23, 2006 - -- Web hosting provider VIA USA (vianetworks.net) recently announced that it has attained Gold Certified status in the Microsoft Partner Program, with a core competency in networking infrastructure solutions and advanced infrastructure solutions.

VIA says it received the gold certification - the highest level a partner can reach - due to its demonstrated expertise in Microsoft technologies and proven ability to meet customer needs. The Web hosting provider has been a partner with Microsoft for more than 10 years.

The certification was achieved with two competencies. The first is networking infrastructure, which demonstrates expertise in technology solutions based on either the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or Windows 2000 Server operating system. The second is advanced infrastructure, which focuses on expertise in either designing or implementing complex infrastructure and deployment solutions.

"Microsoft Gold Certified Partners, which have certified expertise and direct training and support from Microsoft, can build a positive customer experience with our technologies," says Allison Watson, VP of worldwide partner sales and marketing at Microsoft.
