📅 - Data center owner and manager Digital Realty Trust (digitalrealtytrust.com) announced on Monday it is implementing a building automation system across its portfolio of properties to provide tenants with enhanced building management capabilities, which increase energy efficiency, decrease operational costs and simplifies management. .
Building automation, security systems and energy solutions provider TAC (tac.com) is overseeing the deployment of its Andover Continuum BAS, an integrated building automation, energy management and card access/security solution.
Digital Realty Trust will implement the new BAS solution in 13 of its properties this year, and the rollout will continue to the company's remaining 49 Internet gateways and turn-key data center facilities in North America and Europe in the future. This building automation system will also be implemented as necessary in future properties that are acquired by Digital Realty Trust, providing a unified building automation environment across all properties worldwide.
