📅 - Web hosting provider Solutions4ebiz (solutions4ebiz.com) announced on Wednesday that human resources solutions firm Professional Staff Management (psmin.com) has chosen the hosting provider to securely host and manage several of its Web and application servers.
The company's decision was part of an increasingly common industry trend toward outsourcing components of the hosting, monitoring and maintenance functions to managed hosting providers. PSM and Solutions4eBiz completed the move from an in-house data center to a Midwest hosting facility in Carmel, Indiana in early spring. PSM relies on the constant availability and security of its hosted HR information system, HRx, a subscription-based application that allows companies to maintain employee information electronically in a reliable and secure environment. Other features of HRx enable companies to process payroll, perform benefits administration, track applicants, manage employee time and attendance and perform other HR functions via the Web. "Competing with the major hosted HR Information System providers requires us to have HRx in a world-class data center," says Jeremy Smith, VP at PSM. "Managed hosting allows us to offer the most stable, secure environment for the HRx application. Solutions4ebiz provides us with that additional layer of support, allowing us to focus on interacting with and supporting our customers."
