📅 - Web hosting provider GlobalWebBrands (globalwebbrands.com) announced on Thursday it has reorganized its business into more effective units to allow it to boost productivity and efficiency.
The new WScentric unit (wscentric.com) holds GlobalWebBrands' Web site hosting and Web site development services. The company has re-adjusted its Web hosting service pricing to be more competitive with companies such as iPower and GoDaddy.com. The WScentric services are now being offered in over 13 different languages worldwide.
GlobalWebBrands' SuperTelco unit (supertelco.com) holds the company's new telecom and travel services. These services, offered to both consumers and businesses, and include VoIP, long-distance telephone service, calling cards and cruise packages.
A general GWB Corporate division has also been set up to oversee the WScentric and SuperTelco divisions of GlobalWebBrands. CEO Daniel J. Briere is head of the GWB Corporate unit, and will appoint managers of the other units within the next month.

📅 - Google Fraud Settlement Gets OK - A proposed settlement of $90 million in the lawsuit filed against search giant Google by advertisers claiming they paid for illegitimate clicks was reportedly approved this week by Miller County, Arkansas Circuit Judge Joe Griffin. The company says the facility will provide capacity to meet demand in one of the fastest growing markets for data center colocation and Internet exchange services. The new 120,000 square-foot facility is located in Sunnyvale, California, and has space for roughly 1,800 cabinets.
