Jan, 2016 : Juniper Networks Addresses Malicious Code in Firewall


📅 - Juniper Networks, a security and network equipment company, recently announced they will address the malicious code issue found within their firewall. The code was found last month and may have allowed the United States NSA the ability to monitor customer data. An upgrade to the security software is expected in the first half of 2016.

The company is found in Sunnyvale, California and previously found malicious code in 2012, which allowed hackers to monitor activity of Juniper Netscreen products. They also found another code in 2014 giving hackers full access to their network.
