France May Add Anti-Encryption Amendment to Digital Republic Bill

The purpose of the amendment is to allow law enforcement access to unencrypted information when authorized by a judge to do so. Eighteen members of France's Republican Party have proposed this amendment, which will be debated this week along with 400 other amendments to the bill.
