📅 - ClearSky Data is a storage network provider and they recently raised $27 million from a Series B investment round. The round was led by Polaris Partners and the money will be used to grow the marketing, sales and operations of the company.
Other investors participated in the round, as well. These included Highland Capital Partners, Akamai Technologies and General Catalyst. The total funding raised by ClearSky has now reached $39 million. .

The company stated that a fraud campaign using fake invoices sent via email has been going around. The scam states the invoices are “Renewal Notices,” but they didn't come from CentralNic. The company has posted images of the fraudulent invoices, but warns customers to always log in and check their account before believing any invoice sent via email. .
