📅 - Google recently announced the launch of “Project Loon” in Indonesia. This project pair Google with Telkomsel, Indosat and XL Axiata. All three are major telecommunications companies offering internet services in Indonesia.
The project is a network of balloons, which will travel on the edge of space. They are designed to connect people in remote areas to the internet and help with filling coverage gaps. The news was announced at a press conference held by Google at their headquarters in Mountain View, California. .

📅 - More than 13 Million Passwords Were Stolen in the Recent 000Webhost Hack - Customers of 000Webhost recently found out a security breach caused 13.5 million plaintext passwords to be stolen. The passwords were taken, along with user names, email addresses and IP addresses. They were all taken from the MySQL and free Lithuanian PHP used by host 000Webhost.
The breach happened in March of 2015, but the announcement about how many passwords were taken was just announced. Before the company even became aware of the breach, the information has been sold. It came from an anonymous source.
