📅 - The battle for the domain name Verizon.porn was recently won by Verizon. This was done through a UDRP or Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy complaint.
A report released by Domain Name Wire stated this was the first lawsuit against a .adult or a .port domain name. The domain name was originally registered by a New York real estate agent. It was done when the .porn and .adult domains were first made available on June 4th.
Verizon also took over the domain verizonwireless.porn in late June. They didn't need a UDRP complaint for this domain name, however. .

📅 - Cloud Service Docker was Recently Bought by Tutum - A startup responsible for the Linux container format, Docker has now been purchased by Tutum. Tutum is a company providing management for containerized applications. They also deploy these applications within the cloud infrastructure.
The two companies are very complimentary of each other with Tutum providing infrastructure management and Docker providing development and cloud services. Docker was built around open source technology and Tutum expects this acquisition to provide a new revenue stream.

They are not just dipping their toe in the water, but diving in with a full set of cloud services. The announcement was made on Monday and both public and private cloud products will be available.
