📅 - New York area carrier-class managed Ethernet services provider Pangaea Networks (pangaeanetworks.com) has appointed Kevin Black vice president of business development, where he will focus on expanding Pangaea's on-net footprint to address the increased demand for enterprise Ethernet services.

Pangaea designs Ethernet local area network configurations to "off-net" and other commercial building locations throughout the Northeast US using only Metro Ethernet Forum-certified (metroethernetforum.org) network elements and aggregation platforms.

According to Pangaea's Tuesday announcement, Black will also be responsible for growing the newly formed channel sales division, which will recruit agents whose businesses can benefit from Pangaea's PANMetro Ethernet service.
