📅 - New York area carrier-class managed Ethernet services provider Pangaea Networks (pangaeanetworks.com) has appointed Kevin Black vice president of business development, where he will focus on expanding Pangaea's on-net footprint to address the increased demand for enterprise Ethernet services.
Pangaea designs Ethernet local area network configurations to "off-net" and other commercial building locations throughout the Northeast US using only Metro Ethernet Forum-certified (metroethernetforum.org) network elements and aggregation platforms.
According to Pangaea's Tuesday announcement, Black will also be responsible for growing the newly formed channel sales division, which will recruit agents whose businesses can benefit from Pangaea's PANMetro Ethernet service.
"Kevin Black's long term success in generating outsized revenues is attributed to both his experience and the credibility that he has gained from a consistent outstanding sales performance," Pangaea Networks sales and marketing executive VP Kevin Rocks said in a statement. "We are excited to have a professional of Black's credentials join our management team to leverage the recent successes of our company and to further our expansion within the region as a top provider of carrier class Metro Ethernet services for both carriers and enterprise customers."
