According to SoftLayer's announcement last week, MDC (msdndevcon.com) helps increase collaboration between developers, and features single day conference events with multiple tracks covering emerging subjects such as cloud computing, development tools and languages. Platinum is the highest level of sponsorship available for the MSDN conference.

The conference, according to SoftLayer's announcement, is valuable for development professionals interested in cloud computing and Microsoft's Internet services platform. With speakers discussing the future of the Microsoft Application Platform, attendees will get a first look of Microsoft's vision for computer services integration that will extend the reach of existing resources.
