Feb, 2017 : SoftLayer Cloud Outage from IBM Limited to User Portal

softlayer.com logo📅 - According to IBM, the SoftLayer Cloud Outage is limited to the User Portal. The outage happened last Thursday and the company says it didn't have an effect on any infrastructure applications.

The issue was due to a planned interface update, but not being able to access the user portal isn't a small issue. It's a major concern for cloud customers. IBM hasn't said whether they knew the update would cause outages or not.
