📅 - EDS (eds.com), a leading global services company, today announced US$220 million in new and extended business agreements with public and private sector clients in North America and Europe.
The contracts announced today include:
A two-year, $112 million contract to provide additional services toEni Group, the largest oil and gas company in Italy. EDS will provide LANand premise services. Eni has been an EDS client since 1998.A five-year, US$46 million contract to assume operationalresponsibility for Call-Net's IT operations and infrastructure includingdata center operations, enterprise-wide desktop support, around-the-clockhelp desk support and local area network support. About 77 Call-Net staffwill join EDS Canada as part of the outsourcing agreement.A three-year, $34 million contract extension by United StatesDepartment of Education's Office of Student Financial Assistance to providesystems operations and customer relationship management for borrowers andfinancial institutions.$28 million in new and extended contracts with 22 credit unions,including one with Texans Credit Union. These contracts help EDS maintainits position as one of the largest providers of IT and business processingoutsourcing to the U.S. credit union industry.
