📅 - Reef (reef.com), a provider of Internet software applications for the management of e-business, announced yesterday a partnership with CGI Group Inc. (cgiusa.com), North America's fourth-largest independent IT services firm. The agreement covers training of CGI's technical staff who will take responsibility for Reef implementation services in the United States as well as collaboration on sales and marketing opportunities.
The company says this agreement is a milestone in Reef's entrenchment inNorth America. Reef is developing a network of partners as the companytranslates its success in Europe into market momentum in North America.
The agreement provides CGI and its outsourced clients access to Reef'sproduct portfolio, and supplies CGI with the tools and training necessary todevelop custom e-business solutions that can be integrated with CGI'sportfolio of technologies and sold to CGI's clients. The addition of Reef'sJava-based InternetWare and QuickStart e-business software products to CGI'sarsenal of IT solutions will enable the company to reduce integration cyclesand time to market on projects, and to develop customized solutions for itsclients. Reef and CGI are currently engaged in delivering e-businesssolutions to their respective customers, Elon University, iBart and WebAble.
