📅 - EarthLink (earthlink.com) and Compaq Computer Corporation(compaq.com) has announced an agreement to offer EarthLink High Speed Internet service to all U.S. Compaq customers who purchase a new PresarioInternet PC.
"Compaq's industry-leading PC hardware and EarthLink's award-winningInternet service and support are a strong combination," said John Kortier,vice president of channel sales at EarthLink. "And since EarthLink canprovide high-speed Internet access to more of the country than ourcompetitors, we're an even more attractive OEM partner."
Those who opt to sign up for EarthLink High Speed Internet through Compaqwill receive, as part of the EarthLink High Speed membership, includingeight emailboxes, eight Personal Start Pages, eight 10-MB Web sites, 20hours of free dial-up connections, free technical support and customerservice, software, and more.
