📅 - TruSecure Corporation (trusecure.com), a managed securityservice provider, announced yesterday that it has acquired Three Pillars,Inc. (threepillars.com), a Georgia-based provider of systems-based managed security solutions that offers infrastructure security management.
TruSecure will integrate Three Pillars' remote management and monitoringservices into TruSecure's existing managed security services. Thisacquisition furthers TruSecure's business strategy to offer integratedsecurity services, giving customers a range of security services that spanthe development of security architecture and policies, the implementation ofa comprehensive preventative risk management program, and now themanagement, maintenance and realtime monitoring of critical securityinfrastructure.

"Since our inception, we have been executing upon a vision forefficiently integrating disparate security activities into a cohesive andmanageable set of services. Thomas Joseph, formerly CEO of Three Pillars, Carl Humes, formerly chiefoperating officer, and Jim DeBald, formerly vice president of sales andmarketing, will join TruSecure's executive staff as senior vice president ofmanaged services, vice president of managed services operations, and vicepresident of channels worldwide, respectively. To complement its existingSecurity Operations Center, TruSecure will acquire Three Pillars' SOC inNorcross, GA. In addition, TruSecure will acquire Three Pillars' channelalliances worldwide. Lastly, Three Pillars' customers, such as RelianceTrust, will become TruSecure customers.

"Approximately 90% of information security breaches arethe result of poorly managed and maintained security infrastructure.
