📅 - Aspire.net Managed Systems Inc. and Yipes Communications, Inc. (yipes.com) announced yesterday the nationwide availability of managed multi-carrier connectivity services targeted to the legal community.
Aspire.net will use the Yipes MAN service to deliver law firms secure,high-bandwidth application and managed network services between diverselylocated offices and data centers. Aspire.net's connectivity and applicationservices will provide customers a solution for consolidating server andtechnology operations and for outsourcing security, firewall, businesscontinuity and remote access.
Aspire.net selected Yipes after a one-year evaluation of competitiveconnectivity solutions. The Yipes MAN service offers the reliability of anall-fiber network brought to the customer premise, the bandwidth potentialof a gigabit optical network, the simplicity of Ethernet and customercontrol of bandwidth over a secure Web interface, the company says. Yipesguarantees latency within its large metro optical networks to be less than10 ms and its fiber passes within a quarter mile more than half a millionbusinesses in major markets across the country.
