Indus and Digex Offer Multinational Asset Management Platform

📅 March 5, 2002 - Indus International Inc. (indus.com), a supplier ofenterprise asset management software and services, today announced theselection of Digex, Incorporated (digex.com) as the managed hosting services provider for Indus InSite.

Digex's high-performance managed hosting platform, coupled with Insite'ssupport for international standards and dynamic language translationcapabilities, will make Indus InSite a truly multinational asset managementsolution, the company stated. This strategic relationship supports the IndusInAble Partner Strategy, which combines Internet technologies and servicesinto InSite. InSite will be delivered via a hosted, subscription-basedmodel. As a result, InSite will eliminate the need for new hardware,software and IT support staff; provide access to the solution from anywherein the world.
"Delivering InSite via Digex's secure and reliable managed hosting modelgives our customers access to this innovative application from anywhere inthe world. Indus InSite will be on display at National Manufacturing Week in Chicago,March 18-21, 2002, in booth #1425 in the Plant Engineering MRO & ManagementConference.
Digex also hosts Indus' other core products, PassPort and Enterprise MPAC.The two companies also announced in July 2000 that Indus had named Digex asthe company's hosting partner for IndusHosting, which makes Indus' existingEAM Solution Series available in a Web hosted environment.
