Q9 Networks Unveils Hosting Solution for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses
📅 - Toronto-based Q9 Networks Inc. (Q9.com -> equinix.com), a provider of outsourced Internet infrastructure services, today introduced a managed service offering geared toward small and medium-sized businesses.
The bundled package, which includes a dedicated server, managed bandwidth and tape back-up services, is geared toward customers seeking a robust solution that is more reliable and scalable than shared Web hosting. Q9 said the bundle, which has been initially priced at $1500 CDN per month, is backed by a 100 percent availability guarantee. Other key features include a rack-mounted server with dual power supplies, mirrored hard drives and fail-over network connectivity. An optional managed firewall service is also available. "Small and medium-sized enterprises are reluctant to get on the Web without having access to the technical skills required for a successful online venture," said Osama Arafat, CEO of Q9 Networks. "Q9, through its unique network, 100 percent uptime guarantees and now the Managed Service Bundle, will enable these enterprises to establish their eBusiness operations with absolute peace of mind."
