DSL.net to Offer Nationwide T1 Service Through Allegiance Telecom


📅 - High-speed ISP and Internet services firm DSL.net said yesterday it had signed an agreement with Allegiance Telecom to offer nationwide T1 service.

Under the agreement, DSL.net said it would now have an expanded footprint through which to offer businesses previously unable to secure broadband connectivity due to geographic limitations, the benefits of T1 Internet access. The company said its new T1 capabilities would be integrated its current T1 product portfolio, and would provide businesses with a comprehensive suite of T1 service offerings that are available across a wide geographic area.
"Allegiance's existing, robust network will enable us to get to market rapidly with a large national footprint," said Keith Markley, president and chief operating officer of DSL.net, adding that its solution would "offer businesses the Internet accessibility they require and the quality of service they demand, regardless of their distance from the Central Office.''
DSL.net is a certified CLEC in all 50 states, plus Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico. The company offers its services exclusively to businesses.
