📅 May 10, 2002 - Secure managed hosting service provider ServerVault (ServerVault.com) announced on Friday that it has been chosen by data validation and productivity solutions provider Foresight Corporation (foresightcorp.com) to provide managed hosting for Foresight's HIPAA Validator solution.

ServerVault's data center, says the company, is built to the standards or the Department of Defense's Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) protection, and its network is based on the Defense in Depth strategy. The company says its facilities exceed all security requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996.

The HIPAA Validator, says Foresight, provides health care organizations and their partners a means for testing and validating transaction data for HIPAA compliance in a private environment, with a level of security that was previously unavailable outside the US military.
ServerVault says its hosting solution was selected by ServerVault for its ability to meet the company's criteria with its services, including a 99.999 percent uptime guarantee, a load-balanced application, web and database server environment, redundant connectivity and advanced traffic routing technology, disaster recovery and secure data backup capabilities and a data center facility in Virginia with alternative disaster recovery solution available in Dublin, Ireland.
