May, 2002 : Interliant Offers Check Point NG Upgrade Service

📅 - Managed infrastructure service provider Interliant Inc. (interliant.com) announced on Monday the release of its Check Point Next Generation (NG) Upgrade Planning Service, designed to help organizations plan and navigate through the NG upgrade process.

Interliant says it initiates the process by performing a comprehensive review of a customer's Check Point security environment, moving on to identify and address any issues associated with the upgrade.
"Interliant owns a comprehensive understanding of Check Point's entire portfolio," says Neil McNamara, vice president at Check Point Software Technologies. "We are pleased to have such a close relationship with an organization that provides world-class security services to its customers and truly understands Check Point's solution set. We highly recommend Interliant to organizations that elect to outsource their Check Point NG upgrade and/or any other security related needs."
Having performed thousands of check point implementations, says Interliant, the company has extensive experience in the design, implementation, upgrade and support of Check Point security environments. Interliant also has a variety of Check Point certifications, including Premier Managed Solutions Provider, Premier Value Added Solutions Provider, Authorized Training center and Certified Support Partner. The company also has more than 40 Check Point Certified Security Administrators (CCSA) and 30 Check Point Certified Security Engineers (CCSE) on staff.
"Interliant is committed to ensuring that customers are current with the latest security technologies," says Tim Richardson, director of product development, systems and security at Interliant. "The Check Point upgrade service highlights Interliant's expertise, methodology, and focus on partnering with our customers to ensure the scalability, availability, and manageability of their critical security infrastructure."
The upgrade service is available for prices ranging from $3,000 to $8,000 depending on the size and complexity of the customer environment and the type of contract with Interliant.
