📅 - ServerVault (ServerVault.com), a Web hosting firm that specializes in providing secure hosting solutions, said today it had been chosen to manage the infrastructure, security and operating systems for Exostar, a global Internet exchange for the aerospace and defense industry.
Under the agreement, ServerVault will provide an array of Unix servers attached to a redundant, clustered database solution, thereby allowing Exostar clients to gain real-time access to a secure online community. "The aerospace and defense industry requires the highest level of reliability and security; ServerVault met these needs," said Chris Borneman, Chief Technology Officer of Exostar. "We found that ServerVault possesses the most stringent security commercially available, and they understand how to deliver e-commerce services to a global audience." Headquartered in Dulles, Va., ServerVault owns and operates the only commercial data center built to Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) standards set by the US Department of Defense and National Security Agency.
