📅 September 23, 2002 - Supply chain integration service provider SPS Commerce (spscommerce.com) said on Monday that eBRIDGE Software is the newest member of SPS's Integration Partner Program.

As a participant in the program, eBRIDGE will help SPS's small to mid-sized enterprise customers with out-of-the-box application adapters that integrate back-end systems into SPSCommerce.net's integration service.
"We are a company focused on bringing the benefits of e-business document integration to trading partners, especially the mid-sized enterprise," says Colin Brown, president and founder of eBRIDGE. "With SPS Commerce's proven commitment and success in integrating small and mid-sized suppliers, we are excited to be partnering with them to assist these companies in leveraging the valuable information inherent with e-commerce."
SPS says it established its Integration Partner Program to make a wider range of services available to its network of SME customers, who may require additional tools in order to integrate data into their own systems. The program helps SMEs capture e-commerce data for internal functions like invoicing, tracking and shipping.

📅 Sep 20, 2002 - IDT Acquires Star Fiber Network - Telecommunications carrier IDT Corporation (idt.net) announced on Friday that its IDT Telecom subsidiary has acquired certain indefeasible rights of use (IRUs) and equipment from the estate of Star Telecommunications Inc. IDT says it completed the acquisition after the US Bankruptcy Court in Wilmington, Delaware selected the company as the winning bidder and authorized the purchase. The assets, purchased by Star in 1998 for approximately $68 million, represent long-term capacity on US nationwide fiber networks operated by Qwest and Broadwing. 📅 Sep 20, 2002 - Global Crossing Seeks Approval of Settlement - Bankrupt telecommunications carrier Global Crossing Ltd. is reportedly planning to seek court approval next week for the settlement of $497 million in claims by seven of the company's major equipment and construction vendors. Global Crossing's proposed settlement would see the company pay about $113.5 million in installments, and allow the vendors to have general unsecured claims of about $82 million in total.
