📅 September 24, 2002 - Web hosting firm DreamHost (DreamHost.com ) announced on Monday that it had commenced its sixth year in business, having maintained a record of reliable hosting service, competitive rates and high customer satisfaction throughout its history.

DreamHost says it marked the occasion with the debut of the company's new website, along with the additional announcement that the company has become an ICANN-accredited domain registrar.
"The past five years have taught us what it takes to last in this industry, and we've got no plans of slowing down," says Josh Jones, CEO of DreamHost. "We're extremely happy to provide ICANN-level domain registration services to our customers. Few Web hosts can say that they 'do it all,' but this certification ensures that DreamHost will become a one-stop-shop for consumers and businesses looking to do business with a single service."
DreamHost says its new website advertises shared Web hosting, dedicated hosting, Web site management tools and domain registration services. The new site design is more easily understood and navigated. And the company says it has increased disk space and bandwidth allotments for all existing and new customers, adding value to their service.
