📅 - Managed hosting and IP service provider SAVVIS Communications Corporation (SAVVIS.net👉 Total Reviews: 3 🙌 Average Rating: 1 / 10 👍 Good Reviews: 0 👎 Bad Reviews: 3 👈 Official Responses: 0 -> lumen.com) said on Monday that consulting firm Frost & Sullivan has awarded the company with its 2002 Market Engineering Award for Product Differentiation Innovation.
Frost & Sullivan recognized the company for its Fast Pack Intelligent Hosting service, geared toward companies that require powerful managed hosting service, but look for simplicity and bottom-line value. "Until now, service providers have not delivered a managed hosting solution that combined affordability with performance," says James Clayton, Frost & Sullivan research analyst. "Competitive offerings were either very robust and too expensive for a majority of small and mid-sized businesses, or they were less complex but not fully managed or equipped for business-class use. SAVVIS' Fast Pack offering has achieved both, and raises the bar for all service providers in the managed hosting market." SAVVIS says its Fast Pack Intelligent Hosting is a managed hosting service involving from one to five servers pre-packaged for typical Web, database or enterprise applications. The solutions, says the company, give customers a selection of standard components including bandwidth, reporting, security features, support and facility space. The simplified approach, says SAVVIS, is ideal for customers that need their managed hosting solution installed and running within 5-10 days of ordering.
